Inspired by the most popular and legendary books in XXI century Latvian litearature by Jānis Joņevs, it was only a matter of time when such movie will come out. Telling a story of teenagers in Jelgava, a quite Post-Soviet town in Latvia, the movie represents the towns groovy atmosphere and urges to feel alive and free in a place and country that's confused between the past and future. It definitely is a movie to all millenials that experienced something simmilar in every place in Latvia during the mid-90's and works as a nice representation of life back then - its happy and sad aspects at the same time. The movie is in Latvian, but is subtitled in English.

One needs to be totally out of this world not to notice the 90's are coming back. It does not affect only the fashion industry, but also all those one hit wonders that rocked the last decade before the millennium ended. Look at those names - yezz, real shooting stars! No doubt, this event will just be one of those "Gangsta's Paradise" scenarios for everybody - those in their thirties will find nostalgia, those before their twenties will get the taste of some retro beat!
